Domaine du Rin du Bois

The Estate was established in 1969 and after a renewal of the plantings has a total surface area of 20 hectares today.
Located southwest of the Paris basin , it is twenty kilometers from Blois in the Loir-et-Cher , in the heart of the garden of France, near the famous castles of the Loire, as Cheverny and Chambord.  The domaine is all grouped around the farm buildings to form a single plot overlooking the village and is the second highest point of the Loir et Cher .
The soils are mainly composed of clay with flints, very beneficial to the maturity of the grapes. They are grown manually and chemical weed killers have not been used for over fifteen years. The present varieties are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin, red Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Pinot Noir.
