ORIGINALITY

Intensely aromatic and leaves flavors of red fruits with liquorice nuances.

TERROIR/CLIMATE/SOIL

The vines are on the middle terrace of the Agout, which overhangs the river by more than 40 meters.

The ground has deep and pebbly soil.  The property covers 150 ha (about 92 acres) of vines.


VITICULTURE/WINEMAKING

After reception of the harvest, grapes are put into a vat for 12 to 16 days in order to start the maceration and to reveal all the aromas and its intense color.

Vatting between 8 and 10 days, Alcoholic Fermentation at 27°C, Racking after the end of the Malolactic Fermentation.


TASTING NOTES

Pleasant in mouth, fruity, cooked fruits and liquorice aromas.

It is ideal to drink with red meats, game,  lightly hot and spice dishes, or your favorite cheeseboard.
