“A wine whose firm tannins have softened into sweet blackberry fruit and ripe structure. It’s full and broad, very ripe and powerful, with a restrained finish.”

Single Guyot pruning with de-budding, supervised control and prophylactic diseases protection, leaf stripping on rising sun side, green harvest.
Vinification 3-week vatting in stainless steel vat, cold pre-fermentation maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 27-29°C with soft and flexible pump-overs and release, hot post-fermentation maceration following extraction of tannins, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Aging: In cement vats for 12 months, without fining, minimal filtration.
Brilliant, intense ruby color with purplish glints, this wine reveals a fruity and sustained bouquet that blends floral scents of violet and ripe fruit. Supple and lingering in the mouth, we perceive dark berry fruits and violets accompanied by expressive tannins.
It is an easy-going wine that can be combined with cold meat and strong cheeses, Filet of Beef au Poivre, or Roast Lamb with White Beans.
