As a vision materialized by Roberto Curiel, technical engineer from Tijuana and winemaker Eliseo Casillas, beginning in 2003, the Curiels have planted familiar grape varietals (Sangiovese, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon) and making wines now rivaling may from central California. The Curiel family is continuing to expand the winemaking infrastructure with plans for a new 100,000SQFT winery, tasting room and boutique accommodations beginning in 2016.
